Macao Polytechnic University (MPU), founded in 1981, is a public multidisciplinary university in Macao. It emphasizes both teaching and research, with strengths in information technology, health sciences, language and translation, and arts and creative industries. MPU is the first university in Macao accredited by the UK QAA and has received national-level Teaching Achievement Awards.
