National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), founded in 1931 and located in Tainan City, Taiwan, is a leading comprehensive research-oriented public university. It is part of Taiwan’s “Program for Top Universities,” a member of the Worldwide Universities Network, and affiliated with the Taiwan Comprehensive University System. As one of Taiwan’s four historic universities, NCKU is widely recognized as “the southern counterpart to National Taiwan University.”
